I know little about Intex other than he lives with a colleague of mine in East London, is about to move to Canada, is a graphic designer who makes some tunes on the side and his only track (online anyway) ‘But Baby’ is dope!!!
Nice one for this I'll have more tunes up soon. I've got some older material up at www.myspace.com/djintex if anyone fancies a listen. This is due out soon on the first MODULA release alongside some tracks from Dan Marshall so watch out for that. Peace
Throwing Snow is a thoughtful and fresh sounding producer who recently released this great track as a Double A side on Alex Nut’s brand new label “Ho Tep!”.
Play this track late at night with the lights down.
The Weezer album that got released this week is called Hurley and has a picture of Jorge Garcia - Hurley from Lost to you and me - on the front cover. That’s it really. What else is there to say?
I could eek this out over three hundred words, talking about how I had to Wikipedia the term Post Modern for the second time this month to explain it to myself, or I could break down why the straight up ‘when Rivers met Hurley’ fan photo on the cover makes all the Holga photos on ‘indie rock’ album covers look like the corniest, most self involved shit ever, or I could make a jokes about Rivers boning Japanese girls and going to trance clubs like that’s not the oldest news ever.
What I’m going to do instead of those things is just put up a two year old video of him to remind you that the most hilarious thing about Rivers is that his attitude and outlook is so far removed from that of the limp emo fans who worship him, that he’s basically a snide, sarcastic jock.
