Did you know there’s a gallery in Edgeware Road tube station? Just right in the thoroughfare… It used to be one of those key cutting places and it’s called the Subway Gallery. There’s a show on there at the moment called Illusion featuring a load of work by a bunch of young artists.
I went to the opening and the whole thing is really good, you should definitely go and check it out, Platform contributor Tom Beard had some nice photos in there. BUT, if you read this site on the regs you’ll know I’m a pretty lowest common denominator guy and so obviously my eye was drawn to the most over the top and willfully shocking piece. Fuhrer Flakes was always gonna be something I was into wasn’t it?
It’s upsetting me no end that I didn’t note down who made this because it is solid gold and really funny. Someone tell me who did it? You should go see this and the rest of the show if you’re in London any time soon, it’s on til the end of the month.

This is the greatest t-shirt of all time, and the best bit is he made it himself using transfer paper, photoshop and a printer. I’m going to show you all how to do it next week.
In more legal high news, everyone who was that way inclined was chewing Khat, the plant African taxi drivers eat to stay awake. Khat contains the alkaloid called cathinone, an amphetamine-like stimulant which is said to cause excitement, loss of appetite and euphoria. Go get some for yourself kids!
