How many people in LA read our site? Blaise doesn’t let us look at the stats because we tend to get obsessive about it, but sometimes there’s a fair number of LA residents looking at us, it’s nice to know we have an international reach. Yesterday we had lots of traffic from Japan because of Keex’s girl punk mix, which was cool also. The internet is so much more effective at actually communicating with people than print, no question, anyone who ‘prefers to have something to hold in their hands’ should go buy an iPad if they want to be spoilt babies about it.
Anyway, we’re mainly posting this because the flyer is solid gold, have you seen a better flyer recently? It’s watercolour! Who does watercolour flyers? It’s great (but if it so happens that you’re in the Los Angeles area with time on your hands tonight, pop along to this skate video party).
“The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles in association with Cinefamily and Levi’s Film Workshops present an evening of skate videos. This Thursday night at the Vista Theatre in Los Feliz. The event is curated by Patrick O’Dell. There will be a panel discussion featuring Spike Jonze, Tobin Yelland, Ed Templeton, Rick Howard, Stacy Peralta and more!!”
