No one likes a racist, but for some reason every art school black metal fan has a free pass when it comes to listening to Burzum. Maybe it’s because everyone just thinks his whole vibe is so preposterous that we see him as a villainous comic book character, maybe we think he’s sort of joking, maybe we’re just curious about what it sounds like and find the whole thing nasty but fascinating.

For whatever reason, loads of us have got a card carrying racist in our record collections like it ain’t no thang, which it probably is, because we give him money when we buy his records (and in a round about way, in theory he’d even get something from Spotify too), and he probably spends the money we send on more nazi stuff. So what’s the answer?

The answer is obvious: find his leaked album online, then download it for free two months before the release date. That’ll learn him for saying all those nasty things, and you’ll get to listen to his misanthropic laments!
