In Woody Allen’s first movie, What’s Up Tiger Lily?, he took a Japanese action movie and got a bunch of actors to re-dub it so it became a comedy about making the perfect egg salad. It’s funny because you know the Japanese actors want to be taken seriously and Woody undermines their seriousness with silly voices in the same way he undermined conventional social norms and boundaries by marrying his adopted daughter.

Over at I Am Fashion, Hear Me Roar, the mighty Donald Crunk does a similar thing, he fucks with the inner monologues of the well-dressed beautiful people found on fashion blogs, and for the most part, makes fools of them. It’s a mean, snide, childish trick, but like most mean, snide, childish tricks, it’s totally hilarious. Enjoy.
