Hang The Bastard Made Us A Mixtape At Last!

Sometimes you talk to guys about doing stuff and a year later it finally happens. I remember first having a conversation with Hang The Bastard well before Christmas about this but then a tour got canceled and things got forgotten, then two days ago they dropped a mediafire link into my inbox, it was a real surprise, like when you find money in a jacket you haven’t worn for since last winter.

They took their time but the UK’s best hardcore band right now (think Eyehategod meets Cursed: if I was forced to put a label on them it would be ‘fucking negative sounding crust’) put together a really abrasive mix for us.

I think the original idea was that it was going to be a ‘euro tour mix’, but that might have been lost in the mists of time, so what we have here could be anything, but it probably does sound good when you’re doing 1000 mph down the autobahn in a van full of service station ketchup sachets, soiled tighty whiteys and stanking damp towels. Touring is gross until you’re on a major, I’m told.
