24 Hours Of Hardcore Punk

You guys still like hardcore right? We’re always arguing over whether or not you care when that stuff gets posted on here. I always back it because it’s “my thing”, but the others aren’t so sure.

I’m sure there’s at least three of you out there who are down with it, and all three of you will enjoy that Steven Blush (the guy behind the fantastic and thrilling American Hardcore book and disappointingly boring American Hardcore film)  has uploaded 24 hours of ’80 to ’86 hardcore onto his website (he’s a total ‘I was there first’ type guy and doesn’t consider anything after ’86 to be ‘true’ hardcore, those kind of snooty guys are such a drag to listen to).

Click here to browse through a list of nine hundred and eleven songs by spotty, moody adhd kids from the eighties. If you’re new to this stuff and don’t know what to go for, just pick the songs with the coolest titles.

You can download all of it totally for free, but you have to do it song by song, which is a massive, massive pain, so the first one of you to download them all and put them in a torrent or a few zip files for the rest of us wins a small prize.

UPDATE:
My new best friend George Fertakis put them all on one Rapidshare .rar file. He’s a cool guy. Here it is.
